On Wednesday, our studio team broadcasted the first out of three events for Riva Hinder, a lecture series organized by Region Västerbotten and their partners. The series, means to educate professionals on domestic violence situations involving people with disabilities. This broadcast was a little different than usual though– none of the participants were actually in the building. None of them were in the Stockholm region at all.
With several separate streams running on multiple devices, one of which was an optional live sign-language interpreter, our studio team was able to connect people from all over the country in the same dynamic fashion as they would when working on a live broadcast from one of our physical studios. It was the first of many runs of our latest The Park Studio offer– a Virtual Studio Solution.
“We’re very happy that we are able to provide access to professionally produced live content to people and companies outside of the Stockholm area,” says Wojciech Cichy, Head of Studios at The Park. “Digitalization opens the door for co-operation. By providing a platform with studio production quality and professional live-mixing skills, we can help decentralize and diversify conversations by making it accessible for people everywhere. This way, neither audience members, speakers or even moderators have to travel long distances, costing them both time and money, to take part in events such as these, and we can still produce a professional and dynamic end product.”
