Nuroe is a new and innovative life science product founded by Hoa Ly, an experienced psychologist and researcher with over 15 years of experience in digital psychology products. After selling his previous company to Kry, and working as the product director for their psychology services, he launched Nuroe with the goal of creating a product that could improve the attention and learning abilities of children and adolescents.
The foundation of Nuroe is based on research from Karolinska Institutet and Torkel Klingberg, professor and researcher in cognitive neuroscience at KI. Klingberg’s research, which has spanned over 20 years, demonstrates that attention and concentration can be trained through specific exercises, which in turn enhance focus, learning ability, and cognition. This research has resulted in over 120 published articles and forms the core of Nuroe.
One of Nuroe’s greatest strengths is its strong connection to research. Torkel Klingberg remains actively involved in the company, which Hoa sees as a significant advantage in its development. Nuroe has already experienced success during its beta phase, with users expressing great satisfaction with the product. For example, one young user referred to the app as a “life-enhancing app,” highlighting the positive impact it has had on his academic performance and overall quality of life.
Looking ahead, Hoa sees great growth opportunities for Nuroe. With its unique research-based product, the company has the potential to go far in both the life science and edtech sectors. Nuroe continues its mission to improve the lives of children and adolescents through research, technology, and neuroscience.
