The Park Forskaren had the pleasure of welcoming a group of international finalists from the Susilo Business+Ethics Case Competition. Organised by the Susilo Institute for Ethics in the Global Economy, housed within the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, the competition brought together brilliant students from top universities around the world to tackle real-world business challenges with an ethical lens.
Out of over 60 teams from 20 universities across 12 countries, six finalist teams made it to the final round in Sweden. With the previous edition being held in Jakarta, this year’s finals took place across multiple Swedish cities, including a full day hosted here at Forskaren.
Cross-Cultural Conversations and Critical Thinking
The finalist teams came from the US (Stanford and UMass Boston), Ireland (Trinity College), Indonesia (Gadjah Mada), Italy (Tor Vergata), and Georgia (Caucasus University). Throughout the day, they engaged in team-building challenges, presented their strategic business cases, and participated in rich discussions on ethics, innovation, and global business culture.
One highlight was the opportunity for these sharp young minds to explore Swedish culture firsthand through interactive experiences in the Hagastaden innovation district. From navigating new ideas to navigating new cities, their journey was as much about connection as it was about competition.
A Global Stage for New Voices
We were proud to provide a space for these international talents to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and learn from one another. Events like these are a reminder of how global collaboration, cultural exchange, and ethical leadership are shaping the future of business.
