The Park Forskaren’s vibrant space came alive with ambition, curiosity, and meaningful conversations as we welcomed the KI Alumni x Students Networking Event — an evening dedicated to connection, career guidance, and the collaborative spirit of the Karolinska Institutet (KI) community.
In partnership with the Business Committee Medicinska Föreningen, and with support from The Park, Urban Deli and Karolinska Institutet’s Global Alumni Network, this event got over 130 registrations from students and alumni to gather for a truly memorable evening. Representing various stages of academic and professional journeys, from BSc to PhD, attendees gathered to explore the bridges between academia and industry.
A Powerhouse of Speakers
The event featured a panel of 8 accomplished professionals across healthtech, biotech, consulting, and data science. Moderated by our very own Armando Cázares-Körner, Head of Community at The Park, the panel discussion touched on changing career paths, finding purpose in one’s work, navigating Sweden’s job market, and embracing the value of interdisciplinary experiences.

Fostering the Future
The energy in the room during the Q&A session and fika mingle was proof of how impactful peer-to-peer and mentor-to-mentee exchange can be. With attendees and representatives from multiple universities and students coming from many different countries, the evening truly showcased a shared commitment to growth, connection, and community across academic institutions.
