The KI Alumni Stockholm Network once again delivered an energizing evening of career inspiration and community building at its latest meetup, drawing a full house of Karolinska Institutet alumni, Master’s students, and PhD candidates from across the region.
Held at Forskaren, with support from The Park, the event was expertly hosted by Caroline Larsson Ekström, Alumni Relations coordinator at the Department for Education and Research Support at Karolinska Institutet. Her coordination helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.
The highlight of the night was a dynamic panel discussion led by the ever-engaging Edit Szodorai, Senior Patents Associate at AWA and a well-known figure in the KI alumni community. Her moderation guided the conversation with enthusiasm and insight.
Panelists Peter Solsjö (Adlersson Heath), Teodora Andonova (KI Innovations AB), and William Jonsson (Arthur D. Little) shared compelling stories from their career journeys, offering practical advice and personal reflections on navigating the life science sector. The discussion emphasized how roles in communications, incubation, and consultancy are evolving, and how professionals can position themselves at the forefront of innovation and commercialization.
The panel wrapped up with forward-looking insights into life science investment trends and market dynamics, sparking thoughtful questions and vibrant discussions among attendees. Reflecting on the evening, Caroline Larsson Ekström shared: “It was a very successful event with guests who were clearly content with the panel and the theme of the evening. They loved the space, the atmosphere, and of course, as always, the kanelbullar were tasty and the networking was great!”
With its strong turnout and vibrant energy, the event reaffirmed the value of the KI Alumni Stockholm Network in fostering meaningful connections and empowering the next generation of life science leaders.
