The Park recently had the opportunity to be part of “The Future of Swedish and Danish Life Science”, a one-day conference held at Medicon Village in Lund that brought together leading voices from across the Nordic health innovation ecosystem.
Representing The Park was our Head of Community, Armando Cázares-Körner, who joined hundreds of participants to explore how collaboration, research, and entrepreneurship are shaping the future of life science in the region.
The programme included expert talks and vibrant discussions on topics ranging from breakthrough drug development to national innovation strategies, AI in diagnostics, and practical advice for securing funding. The day was packed with forward-looking perspectives and tangible strategies for strengthening life science across borders.
A Community Years in the Making
One of the most inspiring aspects of the day was seeing the continued evolution of Medicon Village. With over a decade of experience in building a life science community in Lund, their work continues to show how places built on shared purpose and deep collaboration can shape the future of health.
This event was a powerful reminder of why community matters and how the most important progress often starts with a conversation.
We’re grateful to be part of this journey and look forward to continued collaborations across the Swedish and Danish life science ecosystem.
