Get inpsired at The Cell

The Cell is the public’s backstage pass to the new researcher, right in the heart of Stockholm’s science city. Here, visitors encounter artworks that explore scientific discoveries and life’s big questions. Science comes alive and becomes accessible through exhibitions, experiences, and conversations. Exciting career paths open up for those who truly want to make a difference.

Welcome to a place where researchers, artists, students, school pupils, and curious minds can come together to learn, be inspired, explore, and discuss the big questions. For real.

The Cell is part of the Technical Museum, with the Karolinska Institutet as its knowledge partner. It has been made possible through a generous contribution from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. In its first year, we focus on the theme of existence, where art, culture, and the humanities illuminate and challenge scientific and technical research. We challenge conventional thinking, spark questions, and turn answers upside down.
