The Park Forskaren welcomed a group of MBA students from SMU Cox School of Business in Texas as part of their international learning journey through Scandinavia.
As part of their two-year MBA programme, the students travelled to Copenhagen and Stockholm to meet with industry leaders, explore international innovation ecosystems, and deepen their understanding of global entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategic growth.
Exploring Sweden’s Innovation Culture
While visiting The Park Forskaren, the students heard from Mikael Ahlström, Founder and CEO of The Park, who shared insights on what makes Sweden one of the world’s top countries for innovation. From the nation’s collaborative spirit to its people-first business culture, Mikael highlighted the unique factors driving Sweden’s success in entrepreneurship and community building.
The visit also sparked lively discussions over lunch to dive deeper into topics like innovation, community engagement, and the power of building ecosystems that support both people and ideas.
A Meeting of Cultures, Ideas, and Perspectives
Bringing together voices from Texas and Stockholm, the visit was a great reminder of how much we can learn from each other when we share experiences across borders. It’s these moments of connection, where education meets real-world context, that move ideas forward and build bridges between global communities.
We’re grateful to have been part of their Scandinavian learning journey, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for these next-generation business leaders.
