Big news from our home in Hagastaden: Forskaren has been nominated for Stockholm Building of the Year 2025. And we couldn’t be prouder to be part of it.

Organised by the City of Stockholm (Stockholms stad), this award celebrates buildings that have made a meaningful contribution to the city’s urban environment, sustainability, and overall quality of life. Forskaren stands among the ten finalists, recognised for its innovative architecture, social value, and positive impact on daily life in Stockholm.

More than just a building, Forskaren was designed to bring people together. With its open ground floor, human-centered design, and seamless blend of work, community, and innovation, it has quickly become a hub for collaboration in life science and beyond.

Award-Winning Design

This isn’t the first time Forskaren has been celebrated. In late 2024, the building took home Best Office at the World Architecture Festival, further affirming its place as a standout project in global design. Developed by Vectura Fastigheter and designed by 3XN, Forskaren embodies the future of workplace environments, being sustainable, social, and inspiring.
