Welcome to a digital launch of “Playbook, a book about the drivers of learning”, a Lunch and Learn where we tell you more about the project behind the book and invite you to reflect, ask questions and takeaways.
The playbook is the result of work that took off with the strategic government’s collaborative program for skills provision and lifelong learning, which started in 2019. The project Learning to Learn was born there and has since grown out of the meeting between research and practice, with prototypes, workshops and hackathons as ways to test, tweak and understand learning and its conditions. During the launch, we share what we have seen when we have researched and followed learning in practice, in both working life and in the education system.
What you get with you
You will receive an introduction to the four driving forces that the book is based on as a compass for learning design, as something you can recognize, work with and use to create better conditions for learning, in teams and organizations, and in your own lifelong learning.
You’ll also get examples of approaches and tools from the project, including Learnable, a research-driven experiment in how self-reflection and learning can become more visible and easier to sustain, over time. And then we’ll tell you why we call it a playbook and not a handbook…Â
For whom?
For those of you who lead, design or facilitate learning, in work, school, adult education, the public sector, civil society or business. And for those of you who want to have a language for what often determines whether learning is even possible.Â
