Alfa Laval Visits The Park in Forskaren to Explore Life Science Collaboration OpportunitiesPontus Linderholm, Program Director Life Sciences at Alfa Laval, and Area Sales Manager Matthias Persson recently visited Hagastaden to engage with the growing life science community and explore potential collaborations.
During their visit, the Alfa Laval team met with Armando Cázares-Körner, Head of Community at The Park, for an impromptu rooftop conversation at Forskaren. The discussion centered around the many ways Alfa Laval’s technologies and expertise could support innovation in the district, as well as how The Park’s community platform might enable new partnerships.
The visit also included meetings with potential customers in the area, further confirming the demand and opportunities for Alfa Laval’s solutions within the local ecosystem.
“From the top of Forskaren you see it all – the brick buildings full of ideas and startups, the ultra modern labs at Karolinska Institutet and the cranes still building the future,” said Pontus Linderholm. “It’s quite amazing to see how much is happening in Life Sciences in Stockholm.
While Alfa Laval is preparing to move into its new site in Flemingsberg in 2025, the company’s engagement with Hagastaden reflects a broader ambition to connect Sweden’s key life science clusters.
“There’s great value in building bridges between Flemingsberg and Hagastaden,” said Armando Cázares-Körner. “Alfa Laval’s investment in the region strengthens the entire ecosystem and opens new doors for collaboration and innovation.”
The Park and Alfa Laval will continue the dialogue in the coming months to explore concrete ways to work together and strengthen the broader life science landscape.
