The Park was founded in 2001 by entrepreneur Mikael Ahlström, who originally created the space to house his own agencies and start-ups. What began as a private workspace soon evolved as Mikael saw the power of collaboration—how businesses thrive when surrounded by like-minded innovators. The synergies that emerged led to the organic growth of The Park into the vibrant coworking community it is today.
As a co-founder of SUP46 (Start-Up People of Sweden),he witnessed firsthand how accelerators fuel business growth. His involvement as a part-owner and contributor to Hyper Island reinforced the importance of Life-Long Learning in a fast moving world. This combination of focused work, collaboration, and continuous learning became the foundation for The Park—more than just a workspace, but a community where people belong, grow, and innovate together.
