The Park was founded in 2001 as a result of Mikael Ahlström’s search for an office space for his creative agencies and start-ups. The perfect studio at the top floors of Sveavägen was way too big so by bringing in former colleagues, collaborators and freelancers the rent could be shared. It quickly evolved into a thriving coworking community as the benefits of collaboration became evident—businesses grow stronger when surrounded by like-minded innovators. The synergies that emerged fueled The Park’s organic expansion with new floors and new locations.
With deep roots in Sweden’s entrepreneurial landscape as co-founder of SUP46 and long-time partner of Hyper Island and several start-ups. The Park has always embraced the power of collaboration, acceleration, and lifelong learning. Inspired by the success of startup accelerators and innovation hubs, the space was built on the idea that work thrives in a dynamic, supportive community.
