Last week, Novum Forskningspark in Flemingsberg welcomed the regional life science community for a dynamic morning of exploration, collaboration, and hands-on insights at the Life Science Fair 2025. From early breakfast sessions to packed exhibition areas, the fair brought together researchers, innovators, students, and industry professionals for an inspiring day dedicated to cutting-edge science and shared learning.

The doors opened at 08.00 with a special Lilla Lördag breakfast seminar featuring Jonas Båtelson, CEO & Co-founder of CuraCell. The session set the tone for the day, offering fresh perspectives on the future of cell-based innovation and attracting participants eager to dive into the full program that followed.

Throughout the morning, visitors explored more than 30 exhibitors and toured state-of-the-art core facilities, gaining an inside look into some of the region’s most advanced research environments. Expert presentations provided deep dives into bioinformatics, single-cell analysis, imaging technologies, stem cell research, and advanced biosafety work.

In addition to the core facilities, the event offered innovation-focused sessions from organisations shaping the future of Swedish health and technology. AWA shared perspectives on global IP strategy, Health Data Sweden highlighted the role of AI and emerging health data ecosystems, and Medtech4Health showcased developments within medical technology. Healthcare Frontline Innovation contributed insights into frontline-driven development, while researchers from both KTH and Karolinska Institutet shared new findings and opportunities.

Throughout the fair, the enthusiasm was unmistakable. Conversations flowed between exhibitors, researchers, and industry partners, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing Swedish life science. The event once again demonstrated the strength of the Flemingsberg ecosystem — a growing hub where academia, healthcare, industry, and innovation are tightly connected.
