On November 5th, The Park Novum and Novum Labs officially opened their doors in Novum Research Park, marking a major milestone for innovation, collaboration, and community in Flemingsberg. The grand opening brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and regional leaders — all united by a shared vision: to create a space where science and community meet.

What started as a simple idea — sparked over a springtime fika between The Park and Hemsö — has now become a reality. The Park Novum is a unique environment where flexible coworking meets state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, designed to support the growth of bold ideas and the people behind them.

The Halloween-themed launch added a playful twist to the evening, reminding us that transformation is at the heart of innovation.  You could feel it in the building: the energy, the excitement, the beginning of something truly special in Flemingsberg.The teams of The Park and Stiftelsen Flemingsberg Science worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. Their dedication and teamwork were instrumental in creating a space that truly reflects our values.

We were honored to welcome Sara Heelge Vikmång, Chair of the Municipal Executive Board in Huddinge, and Staffan Ingvarsson, CEO of Stockholm Business Region, whose presence highlighted the importance of this initiative for the region’s innovation landscape.
