Last week marked an important moment for Flemingsberg’s growing innovation district as Alfa Laval officially inaugurated its new Innovation Center — a state-of-the-art hub designed to support research, collaboration, and technological progress across several global industries. Mikael and Armando were there representing The Park.

The new facility brings an impressive scale to the area, offering 20,000 square meters of possibilities, including 8,000 square meters of advanced laboratory space. But beyond the numbers, what defined the day was the people who filled the room — researchers, engineers, partners, and innovators whose work continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

The event carried a clear and consistent message:

With roots in the iconic invention of the milk separator, Alfa Laval’s journey has grown into a global impact story spanning food production, life science, energy, and more. Today, their technologies power critical infrastructure around the world, including the fact that every second ship globally runs with a separator from Alfa Laval.
