The Park, together with property company Hemsö, is opening The Park Novum in Flemingsberg – a vibrant new meeting place for Life Science and innovation. Located in the heart of one of Sweden’s fastest-growing research and healthcare districts, The Park Novum strengthens Flemingsberg’s position alongside Hagastaden and Uppsala as a leading European Life Science destination.
Spanning 600 square meters, The Park Novum offers flexible office environments, private workspaces, hybrid solutions, and meeting and event facilities for up to 400 participants. It is designed as a creative arena where companies, researchers, and organizations can collaborate, share knowledge, and accelerate innovation.
“The demand for flexible and inspiring workplaces is increasing, especially in research-driven industries. The Park Novum will provide exactly that, complemented by our existing Novum Labs. The Park has a unique ability to build community and create collaborations between different stakeholders – attracting talent and driving innovation forward,” says Mathias Heidmark, Hemsö Fastigheter. The initiative is being developed in close collaboration with the Flemingsberg Science Foundation and is strategically located near Karolinska Institutet, Karolinska University Hospital, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Södertörn University.
“In our work to create innovative environments and meeting places, we see The Park’s establishment as an important engine for new innovations, collaborations, and business ventures. The Flemingsberg family continues to grow – a warm welcome to The Park,” says Johnny Högberg, CEO of the Flemingsberg Science Foundation.
“Flemingsberg is part of Stockholm’s dynamic Life Science ecosystem. Together with other partners, we want to create an environment that strengthens companies based here and builds bridges to other innovation hubs in Sweden and internationally,” says Mikael Ahlström, founder and CEO of The Park.
The Park Novum is located next to Novum Labs, which already offers flexible laboratory solutions and advanced research infrastructure. By combining lab capacity with inspiring office environments, networks, and community-driven programs, The Park Novum creates a unique setting for research, business development, and growth.
“With The Park Novum we are building a bridge between Flemingsberg and Hagastaden – two of Sweden’s most dynamic Life Science environments. Here, researchers, companies, and healthcare providers will be able to meet in a more integrated innovation network that fosters collaboration, joint initiatives, and the flow of knowledge, resources, and projects,” says Armando Cázares-Körner, Head of Community at The Park.
