The Park Global Discovery Programs are immersive leadership and learning journeys for global leaders who want to experience Sweden and the Nordics as an innovation model — not just as a region. This six-month hybrid program is built around one central question:
What makes Sweden one of the world’s leading innovation powerhouses — and how can we learn from it?
Through curated visits, peer learning, expert-led sessions, and real-world project work, the program brings together entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, policymakers, and ecosystem builders to engage directly with the culture, companies, and systems that drive Swedish innovation.
At the heart of the program lies a one-week Discovery Visit to Stockholm, hosted by The Park Forskaren, offering an unparalleled opportunity to meet the thinkers and doers behind Sweden’s global impact in life science, gaming, fintech, music, AI, and more.
Each cohort joins a structured program combining global perspectives with deep Nordic immersion. With 10–60 participants per group, this is a powerful experience for leaders who want to:
Learn from Sweden’s collaborative innovation culture
Visit the districts, labs, and companies where ideas turn into unicorns
Understand how a country of 10 million became a per capita leader in startup success
Explore how public-private trust and systems thinking fuel transformation
Gain insight into the cultural mindsets that drive design, equality, and experimentation
Kick-Off Program (2 Days – In-Person in home city)
The journey begins with a two-day leadership experience featuring keynotes, facilitated workshops, cultural framing, and team-building to set the tone for the months ahead.
Monthly Virtual Sessions
Interactive online modules led by experts from The Park, Hyper Island, and the Nordic innovation ecosystem, focusing on collaborative leadership, digital transformation, sustainability, systems innovation, and future foresight.
Innovation Transformation Challenge
Running throughout the program, participants work on a real innovation challenge within their organization or ecosystem — a strategic opportunity they apply learning to in real time.
1-Week Discovery Visit to Sweden
Hosted by The Park Forskaren in Stockholm, the Discovery Visit is the program’s centerpiece — featuring:
Behind-the-scenes access to Sweden’s leading unicorns and innovation hubs
Guided visits to life science districts, health clusters, and medtech scaleups
Exploration of the gaming, fintech, and music industries that shaped global culture
Roundtables with founders, policymakers, scientists, and community builders
Cultural experiences and reflections on trust, flat hierarchies, and social innovation
Final Program Day (1 Day – In-Person)
Returning to the original kick-off location, participants reconvene for presentations, reflections, a closing keynote, and celebration dinner — showcasing their transformation challenge outcomes and forging the path forward.
